Abstract/
Transform a prototype for an innovative fertilizer monitoring system into a manufacturable product.
Challenge/
Develop a wireless fertilizer monitoring system that would completely eliminate the need for farmers
to periodically stop their tractors and manually check the fertilizer level of the tank.
Solution/
TankMate adapts quickly to existing farm equipment without tools.
TankMate offers unprecedented efficiency, convenience, and safety.
Implementation involved a rugged two-module enclosure system and the development of an innovative tank sensor system.
Results/
Because of the outstanding performance of the 150 pilot units Fluent produced at the completion of this
project, they were able to sell the TankMate system to Raven Industries, a major supplier of technology
solutions for the agricultural industry.
