Dan Bullis

Title
Chief Operation Officer + Principal
Present
Intricately involved in the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the firm and a hands-on director of the prototype shop.
Past
I joined Design Concepts in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts/Industrial Design from UW- Stout. We were a three employee firm that had not yet seen the advent of computers and CAD software. At the time, all our creative work was artfully done by-hand. By electing to be solely dedicated to Design Concepts as a career path, I have been delighted to observe our tremendous advancements in both technology and individual talent.
Passion
That’s very broad, but I’ll say that I most enjoy presenting our clients with the WOW Factor upon the completion of a job well done. For me personally, that would best be represented in the physical form of a very well executed three-dimensional artifact, such as a visual model or prototype, capturing the refined creative efforts of the entire team.
Play
Counter to much of the culture that surrounds me, some of my most satisfying personal moments are usually found outdoors and being physically engaged. My Midwestern lifestyle allows my own recreational pursuits to flow with the seasons, deriving the very best each has to offer.
