Wilson nCode Triad Racket
Wilson Sporting Goods, a worldwide-leader in sports equipment, enlisted the help of Design Concepts to develop a new, distinct visual appearance for Wilson’s 3rd-generation Triad tennis racket product line.
Wilson’s original line of nCode Triad tennis rackets evolved from technical perspective without the benefit of industrial design. Design Concepts' designers and engineers created a highly artistic aesthetic for the nCode which communicates the elegance of the Triad technology. The nCode Triad makes a cohesive and elegant statement from handle to racket head, looking unlike anything else on the market at the time of introdction. It makes an appearance statement as strong as the Triad technology itself.
On the court, the redesigned Wilson nCode rackets won the 2004 Wimbledon (Men's Singles and Doubles) and the 2005 Australian Open (Women's Singles). Off the court, critics praised the nCode for its form and function winning the BusinessWeek/IDSA IDEA Award and TENNIS Magazine Editors' Choice
