Oster Blender

Oster is known worldwide for products that inspire creative and confident cooks. They chose Design Concepts to reduce their production costs by developing internal parts that were interchangeable between models and creae an attractive user interface.

The design team, working on a very short timeline, designed a new motor using parts to fit all pre-existing Oster blenders. As a result of the interchangeable parts, Oster was able to dramatically increase production of their blenders. All 6 of Oster’s assembly lines were more productive, while their costs to produce the produce decreased. Increased productivity helped Oster meet the high demand for their blenders satisfying customers and reinforcing their brand.
