Fluent TankMate

Chad Sorenson, the innovator and entrepreneur behind Fluent Systems, approached Design Concepts to transform his prototype for a revolutionary wireless fertilizer system. Sorenson’s system completely eliminates the need for farmers to periodically stop their tractors and manually check the fertilizer level of the tank.

Design Concepts worked with Sorenson to develop the TankMate, which adapts quickly to existing farm equipment without the use of tools. TankMate offers unprecedented efficiency, convenience and safety. Implementation of the designs involved a rugged two-module enclosure system and the development of an innovative tank sensor system.

Because of the outstanding performance of the 150 pilot units Fluent produced at the completion of this project, they were able to sell the TankMate system to Raven Industries, a major supplier of technology solutions for the agricultural industry.
