Inventor Arnie Wolfe contacted Design Concepts to take his invention to the next level. He sought the insights of Design Concepts to refine the concept of a storage unit that easily and quickly converts to a towable trailer.
Engineers and designers worked with the inventor, vendors and the licensing manufacturer Lippert Components, to create a stable, structurally sound trailer towable by virtually any vehicle. In addition to structural engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly, the team added important features including a removable tailgate, key-locking doors, safety improvements, configurable storage areas, door access, leak-proof storage, and more.
The home storage unit converts to a cargo trailer in 60 seconds. The Tow-N-Stow hauls up to 1000 lbs of material and provides 50 cubic feet of indoor or outdoor storage space. Architectural and automotive features combine to create a cohesive aesthetic whether the product is used as a storage unit or as a trailer. The product sets the visual benchmark for the new Tow-N-Stow brand.
Tow-N-Stow was awarded the 2009 National Hardware Show's Retailers' Choice Award selected to showcase the most promising products - products retailers want to see in their stores.
