Stefanie Norvaisas, Design Concepts’ director of research has conducted an extensive ethnographic research study for Filene Research Institute examining credit union members. The newly created study “Why Choose a Credit Union: An ethnographic study of member behaviors” points to new opportunities for credit unions to reach out to members.

Stefanie and the Design Concepts’ research staff visited seven credit unions across the country. Together they conducted interviews in homes and in credit unions to gain insights into their decision to become members of their financial institution.

In addition to the study, Filene produced an audio interview with Stephanie Norvaisas and George Hofheimer, chief research officer for Filene Research Institute discussing the research finding and implications.
