Creating powerful connections with customers means understanding their needs, their goals and their lives. Filene Research Institute and Design Concepts are teaming up to help credit unions gain insights into opportunities to improve member services.

Design Concepts is working directly with credit unions throughout the country to conduct Connecting with Consumer workshops.

Jump Start is an interacative three-day workshop designed to build a credit union’s brand fram the customers’ perspective.

Opportunity Investigation is a three-week intensive program to identify member needs and develop new products and services.

Deep Exploration is a four-week opportunity that combines research and analysis to create a purposeful strategic workplan.

Each workshop uses design thinking and ethnographic research to better understand the needs of customers. Ethnographic research will take teams of researchers and credit union staff into the field to learn from members in their homes and lives. Design thinking translates empathy for credit union members into innovative solutions. Design Concepts’ strategic perspective ensures the insights and ideas make sound business sense and contribute to the financial health of the credit union.
