Animal Based Testing in Medical Research and Product Development
On July 17, 2008, Design Concepts was pleased to welcome Richard Lane, associate director of the Research Animal Resources Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Lane led a workshop on animal based testing in medical research and product development.
The workshop was an informative session geared toward professionals involved in medical projects who care about the ethical treatment of animals.
In support of Design Concepts’ continued commitment to ongoing education and emphasis on medial device development, Mr. Lane presented a brief overview of the current regulatory and ethical medical testing landscape relative to animal subjects.

3. Questions that should be asked by those using animal based testing for research or product development
