Design Concepts' Intern Challenge.
Design Concept's staff welcomed 2008 summer interns James Endres, an electrical engineering major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Chris Metcalfe, industrial design major at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
The interns brought new insights to projects and gained valuable perspectives on their fields of study and career paths. Their skills and energy were a tremendous asset the the design teams and a welcome addition to the staff.
At the end of the summer, the interns challenged staff to an all-out kite fight. In a nearby field, it was more pure flight than all-out fight as everything from a power kite to small stunt kites took to the sky - and sometimes the ground.
