Design Concepts’ principals Stefanie Norvaisas, director of strategy & research, and Ami Verhalen, director of industrial design, lead a PDMA webinar series to introduce design thinking – an approach to innovation that is changing business as usual.

Lucas McCann, Design Concepts’ senior design strategist, was selected to present the paper “The Dō and Jutsu of Strategic Ethnography: Balancing the Way and the Art of Understanding,” at the 2010 Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference (EPIC), Tokyo, Japan, September 1, 2010.

Design Concepts’ interns in industrial design, research and graphic design, concluded their summer internships with an in-depth presentation on the behavior and psychology surrounding decision making. Combining a presentation, question and answer session, information mapping, and fascinating videos made this a dynamic and entertaining learning experience.
