Design Concepts cited for role as supplier
MADISON, WISCONSIN – Design Concepts, Inc. announced today that the Hospira, Inc., Symbiq™ Infusion System has received a 2007 Medical Design Excellence Award. Design Concepts, a product development and design consultancy, provided the essential mechanical engineering and industrial design for the award-winning product and was cited for its role as a supplier.

Madison, Wisconsin – At the recent International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS) held in New York City, the 10th annual Editor’s Choice Award-Restaurant category was awarded to Vollrath Company’s newly developed FoodFrameTM product line, a jointly designed product of The Vollrath Company L.L.C. of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Design Concepts, Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin.
Design Concept’s work with Wilson Sporting Goods is the featured case study in Design Management Institute’s journal, Design Management Review. Read how design differentiated the product from a crowded market.
The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) awarded top honors to The Brewer Company’s Access High-Low Exam Table winning the 2006 Product of the Year award. Design Concepts staff worked with the Brewer Company to design the internal mechanisms that allows the table to raise and lower giving safer access to those in wheel chairs and with mobility issues.

[CHICAGO]- Serena Williams captured her seventh Grand Slam using the new Wilson n3 nCode racket, which she switched to just before playing in the Australian Open. The final round was not only a showdown between Williams and Lindsay Davenport but also a showcase of nCode “potential unlocked” as both players converted to new Wilson nCode rackets, Davenport using the new nTour racket that Wilson just launched.
